Mj, the creator and designer of the unique Clever Clutch Collection conceptualized the idea while living in Nashville, Tennessee.  As a single young woman, Mj enjoyed fashion, exercise, travel and the city life. She once set out to find a designer looking carrying case to carry her wet wipes in, "Something fun that would easily travel with me wherever I went."  Everywhere she looked was a product that was designed for a baby; plastic, bulky, pink or blue.  None of which matched her lifestyle, wardrobe, nor did they reflect her image. Mj's innovative spirit took over and she sat down to design what she felt would be the most fashionable, practical case that would make a positive and encouraging statement for women, men, teens, and baby.

 

As Mj began to start her family and continued her path as an entrepreneur, her prototype design evolved. "I would take the diapers out and replace the bag with my cosmetics to jump on a plane. The wipes were so convenient to me when I traveled. During the regular work week I would stuff the bag with my keys and phone while going into a store.  I had to have the wipes on me because I wanted to wipe down the cart I would be using before shopping.  When chauffeuring my family, I would put the diapers back in and stuff it with snacks, bottles, creams, etc.  All along the way, my wipes were always with me."  She energetically states, " People started asking where I got the bag. It became so clear to me that there was a market out there for women and men that would appreciate a line of bags that allowed them to freely and fashionably transport wipes for personal hygiene, germs and bacteria--parent or not." 

 

It was even more clear to Mj after collecting data that people wanted and needed a way to transport the wet wipes without the obvious association of babies and to carry more than just diapers.  She created 6 different multi-purpose designs for different lifestyles. "The typical plastic hard case or the fall back plastic zip lock bag kept people from actually carrying the wipes where and when they needed them most." adding, "You are never caught off guard without a wet wipe to help sanitize or freshen-up."  The bag now being coined the Clever Clutch would actually assist one in maintaining good health and wellness; a more attractive you.

 

MjIV is all about confidence, vanity and responsibility.  Mj adds, "I thought of the the persons whom would embrace such a concept the most.  I thought of their lifestyles, their daily errands, where they work, their goals, their self-image, their personalities, their health concerns.  Ultimately, we all wear more than one hat in a day's time; this bag had to match the hat"
